Dream Weaver Border Collies are built for sport. Several different bloodlines are the backbone of our lines, all sharing several common denominators; beautiful structure, incredible athletic ability, immense drive and desire to please, anytime you want it get up and go, and, an "off" switch when they are not working.
Dream Weaver Border Collies originated primarily from herding lines and have shown their abilities in that arena as well as agility. The original Dream Weaver Border Collie was "Jack" a beautiful black tri who epitomized everything I ever wanted and continue to strive for in the performance Border Collie. He was OFA Excellent with beautiful structure. He was just flat out fast and smart as a whip, yet a complete gentleman in the house and generally curled up in a ball sleeping when he was not "on". Jack was also major pointed in breed. Jack was the foundation of Dream Weaver Border Collies and his legacy lives on in his kids, grand kids and great grandkids.
I am happy to say that Jacks side of the pedigree has been beautifully balanced by Rising Sun Hanna and Nancy Obermarks wonderful dog Dice who together have helped enhance what I already thought to be pretty terrific lines. I am also very fortunate to have added a very special part of the Come Bye blood line with Stephanie Spyr's Rage, a son of Bill and Jen Pinders Cajun and some fabulous imported bloodlines through Johnny Wilsons Maid and Hendersons Bill.
